Preparation

How to prepare Greek Rice Salad

To make the Greek rice salad, first bring a pot of water to a boil, then salt it and cook the rice for 10 minutes 1. Meanwhile, prepare the dressing: wash the cucumbers and cut them first into slices 2 and then into cubes 3.

Wash the cherry tomatoes and quarter them 4, then halve the olives 5. Finally, cut the feta into cubes 6.

In a bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes with the cucumbers 7, olives 8, and feta 9.

Tear the basil leaves with your hands 10 and season with salt, pepper 11, and a drizzle of oil. Once the rice is cooked, drain it and transfer it to another bowl. Drizzle with a bit of oil 12 and mix, then let it cool.

When the rice has cooled, add the dressing 13 and mix everything well 14. Your Greek rice salad is ready to be enjoyed 15!

How to store

The Greek rice salad can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 days.

Tips

If you like, you can substitute basil with mint leaves!

Add salt sparingly because feta is already very salty.
