Squid are a very versatile ingredient in the kitchen, but besides the timeless fried calamari, have you ever tried baked calamari rings? Here's a recipe to enjoy these delicious mollusks in a new way by enriching the coating with paprika for a more pronounced flavor. Once cleaned, the baked calamari rings are very simple to prepare: just cut them into rings, bread them, and once the calamari are in the oven, prepare your preferred side dish (a fresh mixed salad or a diced sautéed vegetables are ideal to accompany this dish).

To prepare the baked calamari rings, first clean the squid, then cut them into rings 3/4 inch thick 1. In a baking dish, combine the breadcrumbs 2 and paprika 3.
Add the salt 4 and mix. Place the squid in this mix 5 and mix to adhere the coating well. Transfer the mollusks to a baking tray 6, distributing them without overlapping.
