INGREDIENTS

Ingredients for about 20 cookies
Type 00 flour 4 ½ cups (550 g)
Brown sugar 0.9 cup (180 g)
Sunflower seed oil 0.7 cup (150 g)
Whole milk ½ cup (120 g)
Eggs 5.8 oz (165 g) - (about 3)
Baker's ammonia 2 tsp (10 g)

How to prepare Grandma's Cookies

To make grandma's cookies, first slice the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a small knife 1. Mix the baking ammonia in the milk 2, then pour the whole eggs into a stand mixer equipped with a paddle attachment 3.

Turn on the stand mixer and add the brown sugar in 3 parts 4. When the mixture is fluffy, add the vanilla bean seeds 5 and the oil in a thin stream 6.
