Preparation

How to prepare Puff Pastry Mini Pizzas

To make the puff pastry mini pizzas, roll out the puff pastry sheet on the work surface and cut it out with a 2.75-inch cookie cutter 1: you will get about 14 discs 2. Transfer the discs to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, spacing them a few inches apart 3

Prick the puff pastry with a fork 4. Spread a tablespoon of tomato sauce on each disc 5, then season with a dash of oil 6.

Add a pinch of oregano 7 and bake in a preheated static oven at 400°F for about 20 minutes, on the middle shelf 8. When they are nicely golden, take the puff pastry mini pizzas out of the oven 9 and let them cool slightly before serving!

Storage

The puff pastry mini pizzas can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 days, in an airtight container. Before serving, warm them up in the oven at 300°F for a few minutes.

Tip

If you prefer a more golden result, you can brush the puff pastry circles with beaten egg before seasoning and baking them.

You can enrich the puff pastry mini pizzas with your favorite ingredients, for example, olives, capers, tuna, anchovies, mozzarella, or diced ham.
