But today we surprise you with a different answer… the water apple cake. The qualities of the water cake meet the rustic delight of the apple cake, and the result is a simple and soft dessert for the whole family's breakfast and snack time. To prepare the water apple cake, first sift the flour into a bowl 1, then add the baking powder 2 and sugar 3. Mix the dry ingredients with a hand whisk.
While continuing to mix, slowly pour in the water 4, the filtered orange juice 5, and the vegetable oil 6.
Finally, add the grated orange zest 7 and mix again. At this point, wash the apples and cut them first into wedges 8 and then into irregular cubes, without peeling them 9.
Also add the apple cubes to the mixture 10 and mix with a spatula to incorporate them evenly 11. Pour the obtained batter into a 9-inch baking pan lined with parchment paper 12.
