Caramel Panettone Crostini

Ingredients

  • 1 Panettone
  • 250g sugar (1 1/8 cups)
  • 180 ml heavy cream (3/4 cup)
  • 120g cold butter (1/2 cup)

Procedure

Slice the panettone into strips, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt crystals. Bake in the oven at 180°C (355°F) for 5 minutes.

For the caramel: Cook the sugar over medium heat. When it starts to caramelize, add the cream and cold butter.
