Caramel Pudding with Peanuts
Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 ml) of milk
- 1/3 cup (70 g) of sugar
- 2 eggs
- Vanilla, to taste
- Caramel, to taste
- Chopped /crushed peanuts
Procedure
- Heat the milk and set it aside.
- Caramelize 1/3 cup of sugar; add the hot milk when the caramel is ready.
- In a bowl, beat the 2 eggs with vanilla and pour the warm milk over them.
- Strain the mixture and transfer it to ceramic dishes.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place the dishes in a pot with a finger's depth of water.
- Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Once cooked, let them cool completely for at least 3 hours.
- Decorate with caramel and peanuts (optional).
