Cauliflower Cutlet Gratin
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower
- 2 eggs
- 1 heaping tablespoon of Greek yogurt sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices of tomato
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- Oregano to taste
Procedure
- Prepare the batter: In a bowl, beat the eggs with Greek yogurt sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Prepare the cauliflower: Cut the cauliflower into slices at least two centimeters thick.
- Bread the cauliflower: Dip the cauliflower slices into the batter, ensuring they are well coated on all sides.
- Cook in a pan: Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan and cook the breaded cauliflower slices for 5 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
- Add tomato and mozzarella: Transfer the cauliflower slices to a baking dish, top each slice with a slice of tomato and one of mozzarella.
- Broil in the oven: Sprinkle with oregano and bake in a preheated oven at 330°F (165°C) for 10-15 minutes, until the mozzarella is melted and slightly golden.
- Serve hot: Let it rest for a moment before serving your cauliflower cutlets.
