Coffee Mousse with Biscuit Layers
Ingredients
For Coffee Mousse:
- 1 tablespoon (30 grams) of instant coffee
- 1/2 cup (100 grams) of sugar
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) of cold water
- 3/4 cup (200 ml) of whipped cream
For the Biscuits:
- 1 cup (150 grams) of biscuits
- 2 tablespoons (30 grams) of melted butter
Procedure
- Mix the instant coffee, sugar, and cold water together.
- Blend until you achieve a soft cream consistency.
- Fold in the whipped cream thoroughly.
- Transfer the mixture into a piping bag.
- Crush the biscuits and mix with the melted butter.
- Pour a layer of mousse into a glass.
- Add a layer of the biscuit mixture.
- Repeat the layering of mousse and biscuit mixture.
- Finish with a final layer of mousse.
- Smooth the surface and garnish with crushed chocolate.
