Crostino with Date, Walnut Cream and Burrata
Ingredients
- 10 pitted dates
- 1/3 cup walnuts (40 grams)
- 1 heaping tablespoon of honey
- 1 slice of rye bread
- 4.4 oz burrata (125 grams)
- Chopped walnuts (for garnish)
- Extra virgin olive oil (for drizzling)
- Marjoram (for seasoning)

Prepare the date and walnut cream:
- Finely chop the dates and walnuts in a mortar.
- Add the honey and mix well until you get a smooth cream.

Prepare the crostino:
- Toast the slice of rye bread in a pan until it becomes crispy.

Assemble the crostino:
- Spread the date and walnut cream on the toasted bread.
- Place the burrata on top.
- Garnish with chopped walnuts, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and a sprinkle of fresh or dried marjoram.
