Homemade Pizza
Ingredients
For the Dough:
- 3 1/3 cups (500 g) of all-purpose flour
- 1 2/3 cups (390 g) of water
- ½ teaspoon (2 g) of instant yeast
- 2 teaspoons (10 g) of salt
For the Topping:
- Tomato sauce, as needed
- Fiordilatte mozzarella, as needed
- Fresh basil, to taste
Procedure
- In a large bowl, mix the flour with the yeast.
- Add the water and begin to knead until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Add the salt and continue kneading.
- Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- Knead again and let it rest for another 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 3 parts, knead them slightly and let them rest for an hour and a half.

- Spread the dough in a pan.
- Spread the tomato sauce over the rolled-out dough.
- Cook the pizza in a preheated static oven at the highest temperature for 10 minutes.
- Add the fiordilatte mozzarella to the pizza.
- Switch the oven to the grill method and cook for another 3 minutes.
- At the end of cooking, garnish the pizza with fresh basil leaves.
