Honey-Glazed Chicken Drumsticks & Roasted Veggies
INGREDIENTS
- For the chicken:
- 6 chicken drumsticks
- Olive oil as needed
- Salt as needed
- Pepper as needed
- Fresh rosemary
- For the vegetables:
- 4 green onions
- 4 potatoes
- 4 carrots
- ½ head of garlic
- Salt, pepper
- For the sauce:
- 2/3 cup honey (100g)
- 2/3 cup soy sauce (100g)
- 1/3 cup sweet and sour sauce (50g)
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- Juice of 1 lemon
PROCEDURE
- Prepare the chicken drumsticks by removing the lower part of the bone. Season them with olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary. Sear in a pan for 5 minutes per side and set aside.
- Slice the green onions and let them stew in the pan with a head of garlic. Then, slice the potatoes and carrots and add them to the pan. Season with salt and pepper and sauté.
- In an oiled baking dish, add the vegetables and place the chicken drumsticks on top. Cover everything with the sauce.
- To make the sauce, combine honey, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, mustard, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Bake in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 35 minutes and serve!
