Stuffed Cabbage Cutlets
INGREDIENTS
- 1 head of green cabbage
- 500g (1.1 lbs) ground meat
- 1 onion
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- For the batter:
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
PROCEDURE
- Boil a whole head of cabbage in water for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in a pan with a drizzle of oil.
- Combine the sautéed onion and garlic with the ground meat, seasoning it with paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Carefully separate the cabbage leaves, remove the thick stem, and use them as a base.
- Place the meat filling on one half of each cabbage leaf, then fold over the other half to encase the filling.
- Dip the stuffed cabbage leaves in a batter made of eggs, sour cream, and flour.
- Cook in a preheated pan until golden brown on both sides.
