Stuffed Milk Buns

INGREDIENTS

  • 200ml of warm milk (about 6.8 fl oz)
  • 100ml of lukewarm water (about 3.4 fl oz)
  • 10g of dry yeast (2 teaspoons)
  • 40g of granulated sugar (3 tablespoons)
  • 120g of flour (1 cup)
  • 1 egg.
  • 45ml of vegetable oil (3 tablespoons)
  • 480g of flour (4 cups)
  • 8g of salt (1.5 teaspoons)

PROCEDURE

In a bowl, pour warm milk and lukewarm water, add sugar and yeast, and mix. Add 120g of flour and let it rise for 1 hour.

After the necessary time has passed, add 1 egg, vegetable oil, salt, and 480g of flour to the mixture. Work the dough to make it smooth and let it rise until it doubles in size.

Roll out the dough and cut out circles with a width of 10 cm (approximately 4 inches). Let them rise for about half an hour.

Cook them in a pan on all sides for about ten minutes.
