Claudio Sadler

Creativity, intelligence, and technique define a chef who has made history in our culinary world. Claudio Sadler is one of the most renowned chefs in Italy. His story is long and rich with success: in 1982, he opened his first restaurant in Pavia, then moved to Milan where in 1986 he opened his “Osteria di Porta Cicca” on Ripa di Porta Ticinese. It was awarded a Michelin star in 1991 and a second star in 1995. Not just a chef but also a teacher, he created “Q.B,” a cooking school for professionals and enthusiasts. Today, in addition to the Sadler restaurant, the Chic’n Quick Contemporary Trattoria, and the restaurant within the Milan trade fair space, he also manages a restaurant in Tokyo, Japan, and one in Tiananmen Square, China. Another significant achievement by Sadler is the publication of seven major recipe books by Giunti, allowing his fans to recreate the dishes enjoyed at his restaurant in their own homes. His latest editorial project is titled “My New Menus,” featuring 80 recipes divided into 18 menus dedicated to special occasions, celebrating intimate moments with family and friends. Each recipe is expertly paired with Italian and international wine excellences by the chef himself, who personally selected the best producers and matched the labels that best complement his dishes. Every creation and every new opening by the chef confirms the “Sadler style,” which celebrates the Italian culture of the table, simplicity, and lightness. Claudio Sadler is also the President of the “Le Soste” Association, a collection of the best Italian cuisine restaurants in our country and Europe.
