Cristina Bowerman
From Cerignola to San Francisco, from Austin to Rome. Cristina Bowerman's life is an exciting journey between Italy and the United States to delve into the culinary arts. Unstoppable, always curious to enrich her research, Cristina is a chef capable of breaking conventions without losing sight of practicality. The only woman to earn a Michelin star in 2010 for her work at the Glass Hostaria restaurant in Rome, she has just brought to life her most ambitious project, opening "Romeo e Giulietta" in the Testaccio district, a multifunctional venue that resembles a living organism, encompassing a gourmet restaurant, an oven, a Neapolitan and Roman pizzeria, a gastronomy section, and an artisanal gelateria in a large, adaptable space of over 2000 square meters. Hundreds of covers to demonstrate that quality can be conceived "on a large scale." Cristina Bowerman is the president of the "Ambasciatori del Gusto," a non-profit association born with the aim of representing and enhancing Italian food and wine identity worldwide, promoting exchanges and relationships among those working in the restaurant industry in Italy and abroad, transmitting respect for food, avoiding waste, and promoting environmental sustainability.
